Everyone reacts to stress and traumatic experiences differently. While some have reactions that can be seen as normal responses to life events, others may experience signs or symptoms of more serious conditions.

Grafenwoehr Mental Health Services
Treatment modalities span the gamete from individual, group, and pharmacotherapies to adjunctive treatment for active duty and eligible beneficiaries.
Commonly seen conditions for which outpatient treatment is sought, are Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Substance abuse, Relationship problems, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Developmental Delays to mention a few.
Main Behavioral Health Sub-clinics are: Multi-D (disciplinary), Child- and Family Behavioral Health Service (CAFBHS), Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC), Family Advocacy (FAP), School-based Behavioral Health (SBBH, located at schools), as well as Embedded Behavioral Health (EBH) within military units, and Integrated Behavioral Health Care (via a BH professional within Primary Care).
Counseling outside of the Primary Care and Behavioral Health clinics, is also available at Military & Family Life Counseling (MFLC), Military One Source, as well as Unit Chaplains.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Inpatient BH Services are available at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), in CONUS, and at Host Nation Hospitals in the region.
What TRICARE Covers
TRICARE covers medically and psychologically necessary mental health and substance use care. This includes both inpatient and outpatient care.

Commands Please Note:
All Command Directed appointments (chapters, fit for duty, etc.) MUST be made by either the first sergeant or by the commander.
