The Hearing Conservation Clinic provides hearing screenings but does not offer any Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialty services. For information on those services, please visit Landstuhl Regional Medical Center's Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
The Hearing Conservation Clinic at the Kleber Army Health Clinic serves as a component of the Army Hearing Program in the efforts to maintain combat readiness and prevent occupationally related noise-induced hearing loss.
Hearing tests are provided to active duty service members and reservists by appointment only. Appointments can be made through the Kleber Health Clinic by calling DSN 590-2614/CIV 06371-9464-2615 or through the Central Appointment Line by calling DNS 590-5762 or CIV 06371-9646-5762.
If you are not an active duty service member or reservist, please call the Central Appointment Line to make an appointment at the Hearing Conservation Clinic at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.
Hearing Protection Fittings
Service members can request to be fit with appropriate Hearing Protection Devices (HPDs) during the annual exam. At this time, there are no walk-in services for HPD fittings.
Army Hearing Program
The Army Hearing Program aims to promote early detection and identification of changes in hearing, provide education on hearing protection, the effects of noise, and hearing loss, and prevent hearing loss before it occurs. More information regarding the Army Hearing Program can be found in DA PAM 40-501.
In order to assist with the mission of the Army Hearing Program, the Regional Hearing Program for Europe provides support to units within the region.
If your unit would like to schedule unit-wide education, hearing protection fittings, and/or hearing tests, or if you have questions about the AHP, please email the organization at firstname.lastname@example.org.
