Dental
The Hohenfels Dental Clinic is operated by U.S. Army Dental Department Activity Bavaria. General dentistry and selected specialty services are provided for active duty personnel. Active-duty military members are encouraged to enroll their dependents in the
TRICARE Dental Program for care.
Services Provided
- Teeth cleaning
- Periodontal cleaning
- Fillings
- Root canals
- Extractions
- Crowns, night guards, and sport guards.
- Annual exam for reserve service members (copy of orders required)
- Sick Call (Hours: 0730-0930)
How to Make an Appointment
Call the appointment line at DSN 314-590-3400 or CIV 06371-9464-3400 or visit the front desk to make an appointment.
National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers, please bring a copy of orders when creating an appointment. This will determine eligibility of services.
Scheduling Appointments
To keep in mind when scheduling appointments:
- Priority of service: Active-duty service members, active components, and reserve components on order only.
- Children 12 and under must always have guardian/parental supervision while visiting the dental clinic. Children cannot go into the operatory when the parent(s) are having a procedure.
Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics
For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
