Space Available (Space-A) - Services

Overview

Space-A care is defined as episodic (non-re-occurring) healthcare for acute (sudden-onset) conditions. Chronic health problems require the management of a primary care manager for continuity of care and patient safety, and therefore, cannot be seen on a space available basis. 

Scope of Services

To provide professional healthcare services to beneficiaries who meet the requirements to receive care within the Army Health Clinic Vicenza.

Eligible Beneficiaries

TRICARE Select, Department of Defense (DOD) Civilian employees, U.S. contractors, and their family members may receive medical care at the Army Health Clinic Vicenza on a space available basis. 

How to schedule an appointment:

Armed Forces Wellness

  • Body Composition, Metabolic Testing, Fitness Assessment, Stress Management, Wellness Coaching, Educational Classes

  • Walk-in Bod Pod assessments: Wednesday 8-10 a.m.

Immunizations

(Call 0444-61-9000 to schedule)

  • All CDC recommended vaccinations (proof of vaccination history required)

Patient Service Center 

(Walk-in during normal business hours)

  • Patient Movement Coordination, Patient Advocate Support, Benefits Counseling

  • Medical Record Translations (ONLY TRICARE Select / Prime Remote)

Pharmacy 

Walk-in during normal business hours)

  • All normally stocked medications

Closed on Federal Holidays and Weekends

Closed Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month for training from 11:45 a.m.to 4:15 p.m.
