Medical Readiness and Military Medicine

Services
Service Members can contact Medical Readiness regarding their Readiness requirements using the MHS Genesis Patient Portal.
Readiness Requirements can include: Travel, SHPE, Flight, and Accession packets, as well as routine service-specific medical readiness requirements (including Periodic Health Assessment Phase II, hearing, HIV, immunizations, and vision screens). Within 48-hours of message receipt, a member of our readiness team will validate the requested requirement, pre-order required services (i.e., labs, X-Rays), then reply to the Service Member to request windows of availability for any required immunization and/or face-to-face provider appointments, after which time the team will schedule the needed appointments. Please reference the linked power point tutorial for using the MHS Genesis Secure Messaging portal: (
