The pharmacy fills and dispenses prescriptions, provides over the counter medications in accordance with the Self Care Program, conducts walk-in appointments for select medications, and answers drug information questions.

Scope of Services:

The pharmacy processes new prescriptions, prescription refills, prescription transfers from non-Veteran Affair pharmacies, pharmacist medication management, drug information, and walk-in appointments for contraceptive medications (oral, patch, vaginal ring) for enrolled patients that are at least 18 years of age.

Eligible Beneficiaries:

In addition to TRICARE recipients, Vicenza Health Clinic Pharmacy has the ability to bill all major Commercial and Federal Insurances offered through Government Service Employment and Federal Contractors. Be sure to provide your Prescription Benefits card to the Patient Administration Division (PAD) to avoid potential service disruptions before filling any prescriptions.

Clinic Specific Information:

To refill a prescription, request a refill through the automated pharmacy line DSN: 636-9133; Comm: 0444-61-9133 (Select Landstuhl - 1, Vicenza- 3, Refill - 1), or complete the medication request slip located in the pharmacy waiting area. Medications called in using the refill automated system are typically available for pick up the next working day after 1pm.

Prescription RENEWALS refers to a new prescription that was put in by your provider for a medication that you have already taken but had to be renewed because you either ran out of refills, it expired or there was a change to the prescription. Prescription renewals can be obtained by contacting your provider through or by phone through our information line to request a renewal. Allow 7 working days for prescription renewals. Once a prescription renewal has been put in by a provider you can request it through Q-Anywhere. Then select “Return for Pick Up” ticket at the Pharmacy check in kiosk when you come to pick up the medication.
