Radiology
Services:
The Department of Radiology offers general diagnostic imaging services to the patient population consisting of all eligible beneficiaries (military, dependent and civilian). The imaging modality utilized by the department is general diagnostic (plain film) x-ray exams.
Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging procedures are performed within this facility to patients of all ages with a high level of care.
Access to care:
Patients will be directed to Radiology, after they have been screened by their Primary Care Physician. Their physician will order the appropriate x-ray for their diagnosis. Once directed by Primary Care Physician, will be conducted on a walk-in basis.
All patients receiving services must have a valid Photo ID.
Images from Prior Duty Stations and from Off-Post Providers:
CD/DVDs must be original disks provided by imaging provider. Copies may change file structure and render the disk unsuitable for processing
Images must be written to a CD/DVD by the imaging provider. No alternate forms are acceptable (IE: QR code, cloud file services, USB drives, etc.)
Online links in QR code format MUST be securely uploaded by the patient to DoDSAFE. Once patients download the online files to their personal computer, they will follow the instructions in this link (SAFE STG Radiology Upload Instructions) to send our radiology team the image files from home. No alternate methods for submitting online image files are available at this time.
Non-English reports associated with imaging must be processed by TRICARE translations.
Uploaded images will not be read or interpreted by another provider. Patients should address all concerns about the interpretation of their results to their PCMs.
