U.S. Army Health Clinic Baumholder

U.S. Army Health Clinic Baumholder provides quality ambulatory care for Soldiers and their Families while coordinating and facilitating inpatient and specialty care with our host nation and DoD partners. The clinic offers comprehensive medical care to all eligible health care beneficiaries. Priority is given to active duty Soldiers and TRICARE Prime enrollees.

Authorized medical care includes, but is not limited to, acute and chronic care of pediatric and adult patients, physical examinations, health-related career screening and immunizations, non-operative gynecological diagnosis and treatment, minor surgical procedures and surgical follow-up and newborn care. Baumholder Army Health Clinic also provides specialty care services to include behavioral medicine, pharmacy, optometry, radiology and physical therapy.

COVID-19 Booster Vaccines:

We have opened up more ***Moderna COVID-19 Booster Vaccine*** to all eligible adults, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Information on vaccination events and available appointments can be found on the Defense Health Agency Appointing Portal.
1. For individuals 18+ who received either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine primary two-dose series, a single COVID-19 booster shot should be administered six or more months after the initial series.
2. For individuals 18 years and older who received the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine primary dose, a single COVID-19 vaccine booster dose is recommended two or more months after the initial dose.
Patients MUST bring their vaccination card, so the date of their last vaccination can be verified, and Booster dose can be annotated.

Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5-11

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently authorized the Pfizer pediatric two-shot doses for children ages 5 to 11 years old.
Army MTFs are working with mission partners to include Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) schools to improve convenience and access to the vaccinations.

COVID Symptoms:

If you or a family member is experiencing COVID or upper respiratory symptoms, you can walk in for COVID testing.
COVID Screening Clinic:  Open Monday-Friday, 8 am – 12pm.  Closed on weekends and federal holidays and the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

COVID Testing:

The clinic offers testing for the following reasons: official travel (PCS, TDY), symptomatic, close contact of lab confirmed positive patient.
