German Hospital Admission Process: Admission procedures to a German hospital are similar to those practiced in the United States. You will have to provide patient identification information such as full name, address, date of birth, and next of kin. You will also be asked to discuss information concerning payment of your hospital bill (only for DOD civilians and Pay Patients). For non-emergent care, you have to bring the TRICARE referral documents which you receive from the TRICARE Referral Office.
