Putting prevention into practice is a primary goal for Public Health Nursing by promoting health and preventing disease and injuries among our entire patient population. Information and/or classes are offered on tobacco cessation, healthy lifestyles, safety, physical fitness, self care, wellness, nutrition, communicable disease, HIV, tuberculosis, and preventing the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
Confidential STI screening and treatment is conducted during duty hours on a walk-in basis; however, appointments are HIGHLY encouraged to avoid delay in being seen. Call directly at 475-7418 to schedule an appointment.
