Nutrition Services
The Nutrition Care Services office of the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity Bavaria strives to provide Service Member support and patient care through nutrition expertise utilizing the full spectrum of nutrition science to optimize individual health, physical performance, and a nutritional education and awareness that shapes eating habits for a lifetime.
- A Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist provides Medical Nutrition Therapy for prevention and management of diverse acute and chronic medical conditions to include:
- Metabolic Disorders
- Diabetes
- Hypertension
- Hypercholesterolemia
- Kidney/Liver Disease
- GI Disorders
- Pre/Post Bariatric Surgery
- Pregnancy Food allergies / Intolerances
- Eating Disorders
- Weight Management (Overweight/Underweight) for adult and pediatric populations
Schedule an appointment by calling the nutrition line direct number at CIV: 06371-9464-2540 or DSN 590-2540. The call center does NOT book the nutrition appointments.
A referral is not required. Seating is limited for group classes.
Office hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Nutrition Services office is closed on weekends and Federal holidays.
