About: Kleber Army Health Clinic Nursing provides required vaccines for active duty service members, well-baby, childhood, and routine adult vaccines in accordance with DOD and CDC guidelines.
Immunization services and Tuberculosis Skin Testing (PPD) are provided as a walk-in basis.
Immunizations Available
Anthrax, DPT (Diphtheria/Pertussis/Tetanus), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HIB, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), Meningococcal, Poliovirus, Shingrix (Shingles), TDaP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tetanus), Td (Tetanus/Diphtheria), Typhoid, Varicella, and Yellow Fever. Seasonal Influenza immunizations are available in the clinic after the annual flu drives are completed until vaccine supply runs out or vaccine expiration.
Additional Information
- Patients should plan to remain 15 min after their immunization for adverse reaction monitoring.
- Kleber Clinic does not provide vaccines for leisure travel.
- All children are required to have been seen by their PCM for a Well Child Visit within 3 months in order to receive immunizations as a walk-in appointment. Children will not be able to receive well child vaccines before the visit or age requirement.
- Tuberculosis testing (PPD) must be read 48 to 72 hours after placement; therefore, tuberculosis testing is not performed on Thursdays, Fridays before a Monday holiday, or when clinic operating schedule conflicts with the maximum 72 hour reading window. Please contact Kleber Nursing Department with any questions about timing of PPD placement .
