Soldier Medical Readiness

Overview:

The Vicenza Health Clinic’s Soldier Medical Readiness Clinic provides high quality deployment and medical readiness services to Active-Duty Soldiers, Department of the Army Civilians, and provider-referred patients throughout the Vicenza and Camp Darby Military community. 

Scope of Services: 

The Soldier Medical Readiness clinic’s primary role is to assist with MEDPROS updates, provide deployment immunizations, and hearing screenings. 

    • We offer physical exams to include but not limited to: Separation, ETS, & Retirement physicals. 
    • We offer military school physicals (Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces, SFAB, SERE, Diver, Halo, and Commissioning), and initial entry/ accession physicals. 
    • Pre/Post Deployment review/ scheduling
    •  Post Deployment Health Re-Assessment Review/ Scheduling, coordinating for SRP's and coordinating for Africa Travel needs.

Hearing Conservation Screening and Support for Audiologist.

    • We provide annual Audiology screenings, Audiology Referrals, and specialized Audiology testing with licensed Audiologist, every month.

    •  We provide fitted hearing protection, in ear (combat earplugs), supplies for personnel with hearing aid batteries. 
    • Walk-in hearing testing is available when a technician is available. Patients with hearing test appointments on appointment days with the Audiologist have priority.
    •  Coordination of groups or special appointment times for hearing testing may be organized by calling the OIC or NCOIC.
    • Department of the Army civilians must coordinate the referral for a hearing test screening through their unit and show up to the clinic with orders. 
    • Hearing Protection Education is also provided. The health center does not provide hearing protection devices. Please see your unit supply sergeant for ordering. 

Eligible Beneficiaries:

The Soldier Medical Readiness supports all Active Duty, Reserve, Department of the Army Civilians with deployment orders.
