Southern European Task Force, Africa Travel Clinic

Overview:

A comprehensive resource for all medical needs related to travel within the AFRICOM Area of Responsibility. We offer medical services for Soldiers, GS Civilians, and Contractors, whether for official TDY assignments or personal leisure travel.

Scope of Service:

·         Routine Preventive Care: We provide comprehensive preventive services for travel to Africa, including waiver services, MEDPROS updates, routine and country-specific vaccinations, annual physicals, and medical screenings tailored to specific countries.

·         Travel Readiness: We support group Soldier Readiness Processing (available upon request and based on availability) for Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard units preparing for travel to Africa.

·         Minor Primary Care: Limited primary care services are available, subject to staffing. Contact us for more information!

Eligible Beneficiaries: (needs review and loving touches)

We provide services for all Service Members, Government Employees, and Contractors, traveling to Africa. Please review the coverage details below. If you do not fall within these categories, care may be available at a cost, or we may offer limited services based on your needs.

Tricare Prime beneficiaries are eligible to be seen for any travel care needs.

Tricare Select beneficiaries will be seen on a space available basis for travel only.

Tricare Retiree beneficiaries will be seen on a space available basis for travel only.

How to Schedule an Appointment:

Appointments are best scheduled through the SETAF Travel Medics at 314 636 9250 (0444 61 9250) or 324 639 5770 (0444 109 5770)

Additionally, appointments can be scheduled by calling the call center during business hours at +39 0444 61 9000. They may forward direct to the Medical Team.

Clinic Specific Information:

SETAF Travel Clinic also operates an office at Del Din! We offer basic travel services, including eye exams and travel medical consultations and screenings. You can find us at Building 67, Caserma Del Din, located within the motor pool, underneath the I&S Company Commander and First Sergeant.
