Traumatic Brain Injury

The Bavaria Health Command mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) Clinic and mTBI Site Teams serve Soldiers and military beneficiaries with mild traumatic brain injuries. The primary mission of our clinic is to serve as treatment centers for assessment and rehabilitation of Soldiers with deployment-related mTBI (also known as concussion) symptoms, which result most commonly from blast explosions.

The mTBI clinics offer intensive evaluation and rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary outpatient setting. Our mTBI Site Teams offer treatment management and referral services. Treatment planning supports mental and physical health, with the goal of speeding recovery of social and occupational functioning after mTBI.

Referrals for the mTBI Clinic can be made by: Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Chaplains, Commanders and/or by self-referral.
